theOffset is based out of central Minnesota. Through current, and former band members, the band can trace its roots back to the mid 1980's. The current members have come together from varied backgrounds, a fact that is evident in the band's style of music.

Adam Miller
The youngest member of the band, Adam joined Offset in 1997. In addition to playing bass he has a B.A. in art from the U of M.

He spends most of his spare time in his North Minneapolis studio where he builds sculpture and does printmaking. He is married to Jennifer and they have a dog and a cat.

Tony Viste
Born during Nixon's first term. Knew I wanted to play drums about the time Ford was tripping down airplane steps. Heard my first punk album (Sex Pistols, Never Mind the Bullocks) during Carter's last month in office. Nothing much happened during the Reagan years. Became a vegetarian, my first son was born, and got married all during Bush's presidency. Second son was born during Clinton's first term. Graduated with a BA in History during Clinton's Second term. Proud to say that I never voted for any of the above.
